Grant Programs/Projects

The annual community baby shower is made possible by the Partners in Prevention grant. New and expectant mothers will have the opportunity to celebrate their new arrival with educational material, baby necessities, mother-baby bonding tools, and fun games/activities to celebrate this exciting time. 

Through the Partners in Prevention grant, all five Roane County Schools will receive non-perishable goods, clothing, and hygiene products to meet immediate physical needs of all students and promote equitable access to essentials.

Through the Partners in Prevention grant, student success is fostered by providing backpacks filled with everything a student may physically need in the classroom setting. These are available to any student who may have need.

Roane FRN is proud to partner with the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) and Memorial Methodist Church of Spencer, WV to provide food items for weekends and holidays for any Roane County student who wishes to participate.
